North Korean leader Kim Jong-un reacted to Trump’s agressive statement at the UN with his own version, saying that he intends to “tame the mentally deranged US dotard with fire.”
On Tuesday, President Donald Trump spoke to the United Nations General Assembly. In his speech President Trump alluded to North Korean leader Kim Jong-un as “rocket man,” and said that he will “totally destroy” North Korea if the US was under any sort of attack.
After this, Kim issued an announcement on Thursday, calling Trump’s discourse “unprecedented rude nonsense” and encouraging him to “exercise prudence in selecting words.”
Kim expressed that he would not give up Pyongyang’s atomic tests, and promised that Trump will “pay the consequences” for his speech.
“His remarks…have convinced me, rather than frightening or stopping me, that the path I chose is correct and that it is the one I have to follow to the last,” the announcement stated. “Action is the best option in treating the dotard who, hard of hearing, is uttering only what he wants to say.”
While his talk offered just the same old rhetoric, Kim introduced many people to another word, alluding to Trump as a “dotard” many times.
President Trump quickly responded to this threats in a tweet which you can see below:
