Michael Jordan Finally Stated His Opinion About The Kneeling Protests And You Won’t Like What He Said

Following a couple of days of unbelievable mess created over the national anthem protests in the NFL, various big names have turned out either for or against to the players’ decisions.

NBA stars like Steph Curry and LeBron James have stated something with respect to these events, however there was one NBA star who didn’t say anything about this. Until now.

Michael Jordan was absolutely silent on political problems and refused to take a side on political events with exception of a statement in 2016 when he criticized the police brutality on African Americans.

Recently, Michael Jordan commented the protests of the national anthem and the question of picking a side. He said:

“One of the fundamental rights this country is founded on was freedom of speech, and we have a long tradition of nonviolent, peaceful protest.

Those who exercise the right to peacefully express themselves should not be demonized or ostracized.

At a time of increasing divisiveness and hate in this country, we should be looking for ways to work together and support each other and not create more division.

I support Commissioner Adam Silver, the NBA, its players and all those who wish to exercise their right to free speech.”
